Engaging for Students
As a Special Education teacher I look for books that will engage my students. I found that students were engaged with Milo Loves the Park. The colorful illustrations and rhyming text held my student’s attention.
Also the changing colors of the leaves brought up a good discussion about the seasons of the year. My students liked seeing Milo’s picture over and over again in almost every page of the book.

Looking Forward to the Next Adventure
I just purchased “Milo Loves the Park” by Nancy G. Braitman for my grandsons ages 2 1/2 and 1. I was first attracted to the adorable, whimsical dog, Milo, on the cover. The book is written in the format of a poem with ending rhymes and the illustrations are beautifully done in subtle, but bright primary colors.
The story flows through the telling of Milo’s day at the park, and all the fun things he got to do. Each page is different and gives the story reader opportunities to engage the young listeners by posing questions about story action and vocabulary, identifying and learning facts presented in the text, counting objects and learning colors just to name a few things.
I loved the book and can’t wait to sit and read it with my grandchildren. I’m also looking forward to reading future adventures of Milo in his next books.

A Great Book to Stimulate Discussions
What an adorable book! Kids will fall in love with Milo. The story is fun and upbeat. The illustrations are so cute! I bought this book for my grandson. I can't wait to give it to him. I love Milo and can't wait to see if he goes on more adventures.

Delightful Book for Youngsters

This was a fun book to read aloud to my 2 year old great niece. She enjoyed the rhyming verses, and the colorful pictures of Milo and his family held her attention through the whole book. I would highly recommend adding this book to your young child's reading collection.
